Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms govern your use of Rota Rooster ("the service"), provided by Rota Rooster ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Rota Rooster is a rota-scheduling application for managing employee shifts, locations, and roles. The service is currently in beta: access is limited to invited users, features may change, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind during the beta period.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account or adding employee records, and you're responsible for having the right to enter any employee data you add to the service.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Plan limits (users, locations) are shown in your Company Profile and enforced automatically. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to access data belonging to other companies, interfering with the service's operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.
5. Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access to the beta at our discretion, particularly where it's necessary to protect the service or other users.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including losses arising from beta instability or downtime. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
